This image captures the south facade of Pier 40 along the Hudson River Park on the West Side of Manhattan.

The defining feature of the industrial structure is a massive public art installation titled "I WANT TO THANK YOU," created by the contemporary street artist Stephen "ESPO" Powers. Painted in bold, graphic red and white lettering against the weathered, off-white siding of the marine terminal, the text stretches across the length of the building. Towering, rusted steel overhead frames rise above the pier roof, while the dark, rippling waters of the Hudson River stretch across the foreground, catching subtle red reflections from the artwork.
