LAND Sculpture at Brooklyn Bridge Park

Description

You never know what you'll find at the Brooklyn Bridge Park. The sculpture by indigenous Alaskan artist Nicolas Galanin is a massive 30-feet tall made of weathered steel and is titled "In every Language there is a Land" calling attention to separation, violence, and segregation that occurs in the country's southern border.

Interesting fact: the metal used in this sculpture happens to be the same construction materials of the border wall between the United States and Mexico, making this sculpture even more impactful.
